Show Garfield County's Three High Schools Graduate79 Seniors Garfield County's high schools will graduate 79 seniors on Friday night, May 25. Escalante High School will graduate 17; Bryce Valley will graduate 28; and Panguitch will graduate 34. Bryce Valley High School Commencement exercises for Bryce Valley High School will begin at 8 p.m. at the auditorium on Friday night. The processional march will be played and the Pledge of Allegiance will be led by Tari Feltner, class president. Valedictorian for the year 2001 will be Denise Clark and Salutato-rians Salutato-rians will be Kirsten Shakespear and Marshall Thompson, student-body student-body president. The graduating class will sing "Friends," a tribute to friends and family, which will be accompanied by Collette Mathews and directed by Cheri Feltner. Cole Twitchell will introduce the guest speaker, Barbara Reynolds, who will address the graduates and their friends and family. Hayley Syrett, Sylvia Foster Fos-ter and Melinda Ott will present the class video as a tribute to the graduates gradu-ates and Rusty Rich, Heather Shakespear, and Brannon Morse-Mecham Morse-Mecham will present the class challenge. chal-lenge. The seniors and audience will sing the Bryce Valley school song, led by cheerleaders Tari Feltner, Hayley Syrett. and Megan Pollock. The graduates will then march in a recessional re-cessional where they can be joined by their family and friends in the gymnasium. National Honor Society members mem-bers include Denise Clark, Tari Feltner, Esther Johnson, Kirsten Shakespear, Marshall Thompson, and Cole Twitchell. Remarks will be given by Heather Koyle, senior class vice-president and the introduction intro-duction of the guest speaker will be by Natalie Cottam, senior class president. Ron Hitchcock will be the guest speaker and will address the graduates gradu-ates and the senior slide show will be presented by Natalie Cottam and Heather Koyle. The presentation of diplomas will be by Myron Cottam and Mark McLemore. Closing remarks will be given by Principal Robinson. Valedictorian for 2001 is Jacob Heaton and Salutatorian is Andrea Christensen. Class presidency includes in-cludes Natalie Cottam, president; Heather Koyle, vice-president; and Kortney Renaud, secretary. Advisor is Jim Smith. High honor roll students include Angela Fischer, Andrea Christensen and Jacob Heaton. Honor roll students stu-dents are Tyler McLemore and Ashley Ash-ley Beebe. Panguitch High School Commencement exercises for Panguitch High School will begin at 7 p.m. in the gymnasium on Friday night. Prelude music, "Pomp and Circumstance," will be played by Rick Swanger and Jennifer Jenni-fer Reynolds, Senior Class president, presi-dent, will give the welcome address. Teresa Sawyer and Camile Christensen will introduce the graduates and Ashlee Nay and Rory Hatch will provide the honorary dedication. The graduates will sing "Because You Loved Me,' and Maxi Miller will deliver the Valedictorian address. Principal Robert Banks will announce the scholarships. The graduates will present the senior sen-ior class slide presentation. Principal Banks will present the graduates and school board members will present their diplomas. A special musical number will be performed by Mark Tebbs and Katie Cooper and postlude music will be provided by Rick Swanger. Pelton, Cody Lee Pollock, Tiffany Rose Prince, Pam Prince, Dustin Ralph Veater, and Justin Steele Woolsey. Advisors are Ralph Perkins and John Guilett.
