Show Everyone is getting anxious to ' get their gardens planted. No time for housework. My next house will have no kitchen, just vending machines! Ruth Baugh has been recovering from surgery in St. George, staying with her daughter, Kelley Moore. Get well soon, Ruth. There was a big family get-together get-together at Ora Brinkerhoff s and it looked like there were a few working and cleaning around the yard, however, some were just enjoying each other's company! Adrian and Glenna Pollock enjoyed a visit from their granddaughter, grand-daughter, Candace Wakefield and family from Farmington, N.M. Spending the Mothers Day weekend at the home of their parents, Kent and Betty Wintch, were son Rhett and Lisa Wintch and children. Rhett helped his father plant his much-loved garden and others helped with other odd jobs that needed to be done. This is their last trip home before moving to Idaho Falls, Ida., where Rhett will be working at the hospital emergency emergen-cy room. Kent and Betty Wintchs son-in-law, Edward Higuera, husband of their daughter Charlene, recently suffered a severe stroke and was transferred from Hermiston, Ore., where the couple lives, to a rehabilitation center in Kennewick, Wash. The Higueras had planned to retire the end of June and return to Utah to live but their plans were quickly changed. rieidi and Jeff Monson were weekend visitors at Bob and Randa Kay Otts over the weekend. Bob and Randa Kay spent the next few days in meetings in Vernal. Margaret Hall from American Fork was a weekend guest at her daughter and sons, Nancy Geppuis and Kenny Hall, respectively. Chance and Jessica Stewart came for the weekend to visit Max and Phyllis Stewart. Tyce and Paula Palmer and family came to spend some time with Bart and Peggy Palmer. Danny and Vicki Shakespear came to take his mother Dixie Shakespear out to eat at the lodge for Mothers Day! John Ruesch and family came from Page, Ariz., to help his parents Orland and Ferriland Ruesch do some repair work. He also visited with his sister, Renon Bybee and family. Janet Pollock reported that her daughter sent her Mothers Day present with her husband, Phil Blais, to bring her mother a gift. Fred and Dyan Wagstaff, Walz-burg, Walz-burg, came to visit with the Clay Wagstaff family and it just happened hap-pened to be their granddaughter Hannah's 7th birthday, and so they all celebrated. We could learn a lot from crayons: some are sharp, some are pretty, some are dull, some have weird names, and all are different colors, but they all have to learn to live in the same box. |
