Bob and Beverly Syrett attended a poetry reading held in Elko, Nev. Irene Munson was able to come home from the extended care center. Merle Richards is still over there, is improving each day. Ronnie Brinkerhoff visited in Las Vegas with daughter Amber Simons and husband Steve Simons. Steve had National Guard in Cedar City so they stayed with Ronnie's sister Karen Dutton. Then Ronnie went onto Mapleton and stayed with- former residents Kay and Maureen Mangum. Maureen drove Ronnie into Salt Lake City for Ronnie's doctor appointment. Ronnie was gone for a week, but really enjoyed visiting all those special family and friends. Over the past two years, Bryce Valley School has been involved in a closed-circuit television course provided by Southern Utah University. Univer-sity. There have been ten schools with eleven courses available. The average GPA was 2.73. Students on the SUU campus taking the same courses averaged 2.9 GPA. Our Bryce Valley High School students stu-dents during the same time span, taking the same courses, earned an average 3.41 GPA and were recognized recog-nized as the top school on the system. sys-tem. Dixie Shakespear had granddaughter grand-daughter Marsha Button visiting from Kanab. She got homesick, so Dixie called daughter Arvon to meet them at Louie Shakespear's place in Orderville. Sara Littlefield went along to keep Dixie company and visit with her sister. Charlotte and Jay Littlefield from Las Vegas coming com-ing for a visit. They were here until un-til Saturday afternoon. Bryce and Cherish Syrett went to Louisiana, where Bryce served on his mission. They were going to meet a former companion in Las Vegas and go together. Cheyenne, their daughter, stayed with the Rod Syrett' s; son's Braxton and Cajun stayed with grandparents Mike and Margaret Tebbs in Panguitch.
