Show Three Appear In Panguitch Court PANGUITCH Judge David Mower sat in for Judge K.L. Mclff in Sixth District Court on Feb. 6 in Panguitch. Don Christensen, 28 and wife Kristi Beth Christensen, 29 of Gunnison made initial appearances in court where both were charged with a class A misdemeanor of aiding aid-ing and assisting wanton destruction destruc-tion of protected wildlife (one mule deer buck) and a class B misdemeanor misde-meanor of aiding and assisting hunting inside a posted hunting unit. The offense was alleged to have occurred on Oct. 6, 1996. The accused were not represented by counsel but met with Garfield County Attorney Wallace Lee and where a plea in abeyance was worked out. Kristi Christensen entered a guilty plea to a single class A count of wanton destruction of protected pro-tected wildlife. Judge Mower sentenced sen-tenced her to one year in the county jail and a fine of $1017.50 but suspended sus-pended the jail sentence. Payments on the fine, which begin in March, must be completed within 14 months.
