Show Two BV Teachers Receive Masters TROPIC Two 1976 graduates gradu-ates of Bryce Valley High School, Layne LeFevre and Lamonte Twitchell, will receive their Masters Mas-ters of Education from Southern Utah University, at 9 a.m. Saturday, Satur-day, June 6 at the SUU Centrum in Cedar City. LeFevre received his BS degree from SUU in Industrial Arts Education Educa-tion in 1983. For his maters project proj-ect he developed and equipment safety program to be used in teaching teach-ing shop safety to students coming into the high school industrial arts program. Safety tests will be administered ad-ministered and documented through the use of computers with this program pro-gram once installed. LeFevre is currendy employed at Bryce Valley High School instructing in-structing students in drafting, woodshop, metalcraft and applied math. Residing in Tropic, LeFevre is married to April Evans LeFevre and they are the parents of five children. chil-dren. He is the son of John and Genevieve LeFevre of Page, Ariz. Twitchell received his BS degree in 1982 from Utah State University in Logan. For his masters project he compiled an extensive collection of classroom games and activities to enhance learning. He has been traveling back and forth to Cedar City for the past two years and tested his project with his LDS Seminary students this past year. He is currently employed through' the LDS Church Education System, teaching Seminary in Tropic. Twitchell is married to Rita Kleese and they are parents of five children residing in Cannonville. He is a son of Desmond and Gretha Twitchell, also of Cannonville. |
