Show Antimony News By Betty Wiley 624-3215 The men with permits have been busy gathering cattle every day. It seems there are always a few more out there that they missed. The Rockin R Guest Ranch invited in-vited the midday Friday shift from the St. George LDS Temple to come up north to see the valley and spend the night. They served the evening meal, a good program, a night's lodging and breakfast for twenty couples. Ilene Blood has been up north with her father, LaVee Howes, who had surgery. At last report, he is doing all right and it is hoped he continues to improve. Hal and Athalia Jensen have had most of their family here for the past week. They are lots of help in gathering the cattle and getting the fall work finished. Delsie Montague was here for the weekend and Corlas and the children took her back up north on Sunday afternoon. Those from Antimony attending the LDS Women's Conference were Stake President Shannon Allen and wife, Julie; Barbara Gleave, Marge Robinson and Betty Wiley. The Antimony LDS Relief Society Homemaking meeting was used to finish the dolls that hadn't been painted. Guess I reported that Tim and Holly Westwood took their family to Salt Lake City and they didn't get to make that trip. Sorry folks! Maybe later. If you're not registered to vote for upcoming elections, please make that effort as every vote is important. |
