Show fiREfl OBITUARIES V Agatha Henrie Funeral services were held November 25 in Provo for Agatha Manetta Prince Henrie, 101, who died November 21, 1986 at Provo of causes incident to age. She was born December 29, 1884 at Panguitch to William and Louisa Eveline Lee Prince. She married James Arthur Henrie September 10, 1906 at Panguitch. He died August 17, 1964. She received her education in Panguitch schools and the Murdock Academy in Beaver. She taught school a' Antimony, Escalante and Panguitch. She lived in Eugene, Ore. for six years and the moved to Provo where she since resided. She was an active member of the LDS . Church, serving in all organizations. An avid genealogist from her you'h, she compiled and published his'ries and genealogical records on 'he descendants of John D. Lee (her grandfather), her parents, the descendants of William Henrie (her husband's family) as well as her own history and her husband's his'ory. She also copied, by hand, several diaries of John D. Lee that are held in 'he LDS Church archives for 'he use of her family. She is survived by one son, four daughters: Dantan Henrie, Cedar City; Mrs. Edward (Norma) Reich and Mrs. Roger (Hilma) Honeyman, bo'h Provo; Mrs. Allan (Valda) Johnson, Reseda, Calif.; and Mrs. Wayne (Cecil) Pomeroy, Mesa, Ariz.; 29 grandchildren; 70 greatgrandchildren; great-grandchildren; and 25 great -great-granchildren. Interment was in Provo City Cemetery by Berg Mortuary of Provo. |
