Show By Ella Adair 679-8648 Margaret Mecham and Margie Mecham made a trip to Salt Lake City for the naming Margaret's new great-granddaughter. There were many out-of-town visitors and family members in Tropic for the funeral service for Hope Wintch. Violet Littlefield visited in Panguitch and had dinner with her daughters Renone Hudson and Christine Littlefield and son, Dean Littlefield. Shannon Pollock received his Gospel In Action award in Primary. Deseret Industries will have a pick up at the Tropic LDS Ward on Saturday, March 21 at 1 p.m. The Adult Singles LDS Family Home Evening group enjoyed an evening out on the town with dinner din-ner at the Hungry Coyote Restaurant. Restau-rant. Linda and Monique Donti and Selina and Hal Marquardson visited with the Ira Littlefields. Attending grandmother Hope Wintch's funeral and visiting their parents, the Kent Wintchs', were Charlene Higuera and daughter, Heidi; Brad Baird, Rett Wintch, Randy and Randy Kent Spencer and Julie and Kenneth Wintch. The Daughters of the Utah Pioneers Pi-oneers met Monday in the Tropic Scout House. Clella Littlefield gave the lesson and Sarah Littlefield gave the history. Mr. and Mrs. Elliott Wintch, Salt Lake City, attended the funeral service for Hope Wintch and visited with family. Kent and Betty Lou Wintch were in Las Vegas, Nev. for a few days visiting sons Rhett and Kenny. The Merrill Woodbury family from Arizona visited in Tropic with Wintch family members. John and Joel Wells brought their mother, Mary Wells to Tropic from Washington; all of Hope Wintch's children were in Tropic for her funeral service. The snow is gradually melting and I can see out of my front window win-dow ... the first time in over a month. Larry Adair visited this week with Ella Adair. The 17lh of March program and dinner for the Tropic LDS Ward Relief Society was excellent. It was good to see so many out to it Louie Shakespear and daughters, Alta Lou, Jeanette, Mary Jo, Colleen, Thelma and Cheryl were in Tropic for the funeral. Mr. and Mrs. Brent Adair, Brea, Calif, visited with Ella Adair and Violet Littlefield. Margaret M. Mecham was hostess host-ess to the LDS single adult family home evening group. Violet Littlefield gave the lesson. Several of the high school basketball bas-ketball team fans supported the team in Cedar City as they participated partici-pated in the state tournaments. Mr. and Mrs. E.R. Shakespear spent a day in Kanab visiting daughter Arvon Button. |
