Public Minimum Did Auction Information: A GSL Real Estate & Investment Development 801-451-6090 I NOTICE OF TAX INCREASE The Garfield School District has proposed to increase its property tax revenue from $1,012,388 to $1,237,513 or 22.2 and to increase its total budget from $5,266,329 to $5,49 1 ,454 or 4. The proposed increase in property tax revenues will come from the following sources: (a) $225, 125 of the proposed increase will come from an increase in the property tax rate from .008464 to .010034; and (b) $0 of the proposed increase will come from (c) $0 of the proposed increase will come from natural increases in the value of the tax base due to new growth. A home valued at $75,000 in Garfield School District which, based on last year's property tax rate and budget, paid $423.67 in property taxes would pay the following: (1) $454.39 if the Garfield School District does not budget bud-get an increase in property tax revenue exclusive of new growth; and (2) $504.02 if the proposed increase in property tax revenues rev-enues exclusive of new growth is adopted. All concerned citizens are invited to a public hearing on the tax increase to be held on Wednesday, September 16, 1992 at 7 p.m. at Panguitch High School. |
