Show Area EMT's Remain Busy With A Number Of Calls Garfield County ambulances were kept busy but not at the extreme ex-treme pace as in weeks past according accord-ing to Operations Officer for Garfield Memorial County Ambulance Ambu-lance Service Mona Partridge. On Wednesday, August 26 at 2 p.m., Brad Checkets, 9, of Salt Lake City was transported by private vehicle from the scene of an accident acci-dent near Crawford Pass to Foster's Fos-ter's Motel and Restaurant. From there he was transferred to the Bryce Valley ambulance and transported trans-ported to Garfield Memorial Hospital Hos-pital (GMH) by EMTs Susan Harris, Har-ris, Ron Harris, Alfred Foster and Neil Foster. A second accident victim vic-tim was transported by private vehicle ve-hicle to the same hospital. Catherine Murray, 9, Salt Lake City and Brad Checkets were stabilized stabi-lized and transported from GMH to the Panguitch Airport at 3:51 p.m. for Iifeflight to the Primary Children's Hospital in Salt Lake City. EMTs Mike Neely, Auggie Bernardo and Brent Spencer transported trans-ported patient Robert Coughlin, 47, of Escalante to GMH at 6:20 a.m. on Thursday, August 27. Later that same day at 2 p.m., Bryce area EMTs Ron Harris, David Pollock and Nancy Little-field Little-field transported Rella Redd, 88, Puma, Ariz, from Henrieville to GMH in Panguitch. At 5:37 p.m. she was transported by ambulance to Valley View Medical Center in Cedar City by EMTs Mona Partridge Par-tridge and Chris Gilbert. On Friday, August 28 at 11:53 a.m. Richard Reich, 56, was transported trans-ported by EMTs Chris Gilbert and Cheryl Jensen from GMH to the Panguitch Airport for a Iifeflight trip to LDS Hospital in Salt Lake City. Kenneth Gerber, 27, Cedar City was transported to GMH at 1:26 p.m. on Saturday, August 29, by EMTs May Sawyer, Dorothy Barney Bar-ney and Miriam Nelson from one mile west of US89 on Fish Hatchery Rd. At 3:31 p.m. Gerber was transported by ambulance to Valley View Medical Center in Cedar City by EMTs Cheryl Jensen and Neal Barton. |
