Show Panguitch News The flocks of spring robins are busy finding nesting spots and the snow banks from last week's blizzard bliz-zard are shrinking. Work is progressing again on the Catholic Church building on the lake road. All of Merle Prince's family were together here for the wedding reception of Frank Prince and Lise Johnson. The Princes' little granddaughter grand-daughter Ashley Lenear received her name and a father's blessing in the LDS Third Ward sacrament meeting. meet-ing. Lance Kay Shakespear, son of the Kay Shakespears, was blessed by Nick Reynolds. Alex Wayne Sawyer, son of the Wayne Sawyers, was blessed by his grandfather Lyle Sawyer. In the Second Ward the baby son of the Kenny Hcpworths was given the name Dylan Wayne Hcpworth by John Yardley. Jean LcFevre is home to stay from Phoenix where she spent the winter and has undergone treatment for cancer. Family members are staying with her to help out. Gale Wilcock spent another two days in the local hospital while most of the family from out of town spent time here to check on him including Hope Dalton, the Gib Clarks and Norman Hendersons, Kanab; the Bob Hendersons, Orderville; Leona Bistlinc, Cane Beds; the Kevin Carmcns, Fredonia; the Lamond Davis family, Evan Wilcocks family, Cedar City; Dcbra Slaugh and Shawn Slaugh Mallanii, Hawaii; Vcrginia Alamo, Mikey Alamo and Ryan Alamo, Las Vegas; Ve-gas; and Jack Wilcock and Eunice Wilcock of Anchorage, Aka. The Clark family and Scott Campbell, Kanab, visited with the Bruce Dal-tons. Dal-tons. Ruby A. Myers is in the local hospital. Her son came from California Cali-fornia to check on her. The Phil Dickensons enjoyed a trip to Indio, Calif., where they attended at-tended the "Date Festival" with friends. The Dickensons, the Carvel Henries and the Culen Holyoaks went to West Jordan for the blessing bless-ing of Robert Carvel Henrie, son of Paul and Linda Dickenson Henrie. Gary Owens was released as LDS Third Ward executive secretary. Aldcn Black was sustained to the position. Ruth Henrie's family members from here went to Salt Lake City to see their missionaries Jim Henrie and Evelyn Henrie off to their Cyprus, Greece mission. A "for sale" sign has appeared on the home of the Tommy Partridges. Tom is in a nursing home in Dixie. The members of Cornelia Camp DUP held their March meeting at the home of Myrtle Riggs. Loy-hova Loy-hova Camp DUP is scheduled to meet Thursday, March 9, at 3 p.m. at the home of Gwen Frandsen. Mr. and Mrs. John M. Henrie went to Kaysville to the wedding open house for his sister Lois Guyman Hardin and Gary Furniss who were married in the Salt Lake Temple. They also visited with John's brother Leon Guyman and his sister Jo Ann McLean. |
