Show AREA OBITUARIES Stanley 6D' Tebbs Stanley D. Tebbs, 76, died Tuesday, July 16, 1985 in the Lakeview Hospital, Kaysville, Utah of heart failure. He was born December 2, 1908 in Panguitch to William H. and Lois Crosby Tebbs. He married Beth Riddle, August 27, 1982 in Panguitch. Their marriage was later solemnized in the St. George LDS Temple. She died February 20, 1979. He married Sally (Sarah) C. Higginson, February 22, 1983 in Kaysville. He had been a rancher .and had raised cattle and sheep. He lived in Panguitch until five years ago when he moved to Kaysville. He graduated from Panguitch High School and attended one year at the University of Utah. He was a member of the Eighth Kaysville LDS Ward, was a high priest and served in the Elders Quorum presidency, Panguitch South Ward. He was a diligent home teacher for many years in Panguitch and in Kaysville. He had been an active member in the Panguitch Lions Club, holding every office including president and was a member of the Panguitch LDS Hospital Board. He was a' member of the Utah State Farm Bureau and State Brand Inspector for many years and was active in community affairs. Surviving are his wife, Kaysville; two sons, one daughter, Stanley A., Clearfield; Douglas C, Bountiful ' and Mrs. Don L. (Janet) Adams, Kaysville; one stepson and one stepdaughter, Lamont Higginson, Taylorsville and Mrs. Carol Morgenson, Salt Lake City; 13 grandchildren, 16 greatgrandchildren, nine step-grandchildren and one sister, Jessie Tebbs Cherrington, Ogden. Funeral services were held July 20 at Lindquist's Kaysville Mortuary with Bishop Farrell Benson, officiating. Interment was in' Kaysville City Cemetery. |
