Show Panguitch Patter Judy Henrie Mr. and Mrs. Ralph (Edith) Marchant brought her mother Delia Hatch from Salt Lake City where she has been living. Delia, a remarkable 91-year-old was able to attend church. They will stay until after the Hatch Reunion which will be held on the 24th. Alta Orton visited in Clrcleville with her aunt, Josephine Bird and wished her a happy birthday. She also visited with her aunt and uncle, Mr. and Mrs. Don Mcintosh in Junction. The family of Mr. and Mrs. Konroy (Cleo) Henrie held a family reunion at the family cabin at Panguitch Lake. All of their children and grandchildren were in attendance. They Included Mr. and Mrs. Alan Henrie, Cedar City; Mr. and Mrs. Bryan Henrie, American Fork; Mr. and Mrs. Charles Barney, Kanab; and Mr. and Mrs. Charles BessCedar City. Ryan Henrie and Troy Henrie are staying to visit their grandparents for a while longer. Visiting Mr. and Mrs. Archie Talbot have been their daughters Meladean Carter of Minersville, and Mr. and Mrs. Roger (Arta) Cox of Beaver. Laurie Bamson and sons Trevor, Mathew and Cole from Ft. Worth, Texas are spending three weeks visiting her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Laurel Holman. Laressa McKee the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Norman McKee received her Gospel in Action award in the IDS First Ward Sacrament meeting. The First Ward Boy Scouts are at Thunder Ridge for a week. Advisors are Tom Marshall and Ron Riggs. Thunder Ridge is up Parowah Canyon. Those boys attending are Clint Marshall, Scott Gardner, Darwin McKee, Burke Fullmer, Louis Jarman, David Julander, Skip Houston, Joe Decker, Clint Allen and Ryan Brinkerhoff. Darwin McKee, son of Mr. and Mrs. Norman McKee and Scott Gardner, son of Mr. and Mrs. Robert Gardner will attend the Timberline Scout Camp, a leadership training and development camp to be held the last of July at Mt. Timpanogas. Visiting at the home of Golda julander have been her grandchildren Adrena, Giani and Tony. They are the children of Mr. and Mrs. Lynn Julander, Monroe. Two families have moved into our community, Mr. and Mrs. Roger Nowers have moved into the Leah Henrie home on the lake road. He is a Fish and Wildlife Government Trapper, Mr. and Mrs. William Charles Christy have bought and moved into the Dennis Sherwood home. He is a veterinaran. The Sherwood's have moved to Cedar City where he has been transferred with the FAA to the Cedar City Airport. Mr. and Mrs. Randy Clove, Nephi are visiting his grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Neil Clove and his aunts and' uncles, Mr. and Mrs. Lyle Sawyer .and. Mr. and Mrs. Kay Heywood. Randy is the son of the late Tim Clove. Cynthia Veater, Middletown, Calif, is visiting her in-laws, Mr. and Mrs. Clair Veater. Her daughters Jamie and Megan will stay with their grandparents while she goes to Puerto Rico to visit her father. Mr. and Mrs. Kenneth Ahlstrom, Canoga Park, Calif, are here visiting his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Alfred Hatch and her family members. They are here to attend the Hatch Reunion. On August 1, the Hatches and the Ahlstroms will travel to Ashton, Ida. to visit the Kenneth Kecks and attend the wedding of Kathy Keck in the Idaho Falls Temple. Mr. and Mrs. Milton Young received word that their son Dean Young has been put in as a counselor in the bishopric of the Winder 12th ward, Winder West Stake in Salt Lake City. Many will remember Dean and Irene and their family when they lived here and operated the Color Country Motel. Mr. and Mrs. Arlo (Nellie) Hepworth, Clarkston, Wash, are visiting her sister Inez Wilson and her brother and his wife, Mr. and Mrs. Bill Hughes. They all attended the Hughes family reunion at Red Canyon on Saturday July 20. Thora Proctor has returned home following surgery on her feet in St. George. Mr. and Mrs. Mike (Elaine) Miller and daughters Jaime Shea, and Jennica of Fayetteville, Ak. are visiting his mother Lyle Miller and her parents, Mr. and Mrs. LeGrande Farnsworth. |
