Show Couple Plans Wedding On April 27 PANGUITCH Mr. and Mrs. Jay A. Rlggs, Panguitch, announce the engagement and forthcoming marriage of their daughter, Miss Martha Ann Riggs, to Blaine Ipson, son of Mr, and Mrs. Hyrum B. Ipson of Monroe. The couple will be married April 27 in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. A reception in their honor will be held April 28 from 7:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. in the Panguitch LDS Stake Center. An open house will be held April 29 from 7 until 9 p.m in the Monroe Fourth Ward Cultural Hall, 49 East 200 North, Monroe. The bride-to-be is a graduate of Panguitch High School where she was active in drill team, school and class offices and was valedictorian of her graduating class. She is also a graduate of Panguitch LDS Seminary. She received a dean's scholarship from Brigham Young University where she graduated with a bachelor of science degree in the College of Home, Family and Social Science with emphasis in family relations. She recently served an LDS EL .JH Martha Ann Riggs mission in the Venezuela Maracaibo Misison. The prospective bridegroom is a graduate of South Sevier High School and LDS Seminary. He was valedictorian of his high school graduating class. He served an LDS mission in the Fukuoka Japan Mission. He received an academic scholarship from BYU where he will graduate with a bachelors degree in the college of civil engineering April 22. |
