Show Hunter Safety Class Offered In Panguitch A class in hunter safety1 will be offered April 25 to 29 fronj 3:30 to 5:30 p.m. at Panguitch Middle School. Registration fee will be $4. Earl Roe, veteran instructor of some 15 years, will be course instructor. The five late afternoon classes will be followed by a day at jhe rifle range on April 3Q to complete the course. All firing will be done with a .22 rifle. Anyone unable to attend the series of after-school classes may want to wait until fall when a Saturday class will be conducted. Utah law requires anyone under age 21 must have successfully completed a certificate Utah hunter safety course before a resident hunting license can be purchased. The class is open to anyone 12 years and lip, with 11 year-olds who will be 12 by September also eligible to participate. The course will include instruction on firemans safety, bow and arrow, wilderness survival, black powder, hunter ethics, conservation and will familiarize participants with Utah hunting laws. |
