Show Veterans . . . Q I've just moved and am wondering if the post office will forward my VA compensation check to my new address? A Yes. Checks issued under laws administered by the VA may be for--warded if the payee has moved and filed a regular change of address with the U.S. Postal Service. However, there is a time limit that the Post Office will forward VA Payments. You should notify your nearest VA office of your new address as soon as possible. You might also consider contacting your bank to have your VA payments deposited directly to your account. |
