Show Renewable Resources Directory Available The Utah Renewable Energy Directory catalogues model solar projects across the state, lists businesses which offer reneable energy resource products and services in Utah, offers consumer protection tips, details financial aids and incentives for renewable energy system investment and includes a list of additional reference sources for renewable energy jesource inforation. Renewable energy resources consist of active and passive solar, wind, biomass and hydro energy systems. The Utah Renewable Energy Directory was produced by the Utah Energy Office and funded by the Western Solar Utilization Network (Western Sun), a cooperative of 13 Western Solar supporting increased utilization of renewable energy resources. Approximately 2,500 copies of the Utah Renewable Energy Directory are available and will be distributed on a first-come first-served basis. The director contains nearly 20 model renewable resource projects from both the public and private sectors throughout Utah. These project listings include costs, descriptions, funding sources, locations and contracts for the individual projects. The booklet contains a cross referenced business listing so that access by technology, location or alphabetical order of approximately 100 Utah businsses dealing in renwable energy resources can be easily accomplished. The list of businesses ranges from architects and consultants to solar panel and wind machine distributors. The directory includes a listing of loans, grants, tax credits and other financial incentives for investment in renewble energy systems.
