Show Dance Classes Begin Feb. 3 ESCALANTE- "Peter Pan" will be the feature production of this year's Community Education dance classes slated for Feb. 3, at the Escalante High School Lunchroom. Classes for all ages are set with cost for the 13 lessons and two rehearsals only $15. There is also a $1 fee for show charges. Instructors emphasize the importance of attendance at the first lesson, since measurements will be taken and costumes ordered. It will also be necessary to pay for costumes at the time they are ordered. Classes are as follows on Wednesday afternoons: 2:45 p.m., preschoolers; 3:30 p.m., dance for K through 6; 4:30 p.m., acrobatics for all ages; 5:30 p.m., beginning tap for first through six grade; 6 p.m., tap for adults ages 13 and older; and 6:30 to 7:30 p.m., adult dancercise with one-half hour for exercise and one-half hour for ballet. Rehearsal will take place April 26 and the performance of "Peter Pan" April 28. |
