Show ; Animal Control Officers Named For Panguitch Panguitcn City, in an etfort to control the increasing dog population and dogs at large throughout the city, has hired two more people to assist animal control officer Dan LeFevre. Hired were Bill Frandsen and Marion I Fransen. Responding to an increasing number of complaints from citizens the Panguitch City council acted to more strictly enforce the city's ordinances. ' The city will exercise more control over licensing of all dogs and will also make it easier for people to obtain the required licenses by making them available at the city offices or from any one of the three animal control officers. Spayed female dogs will cost $5 to license Jor .one. year neutered, males, $5; unspayed females, $25; unneuEered males, $5.50; and each dog less than seven months old at the time of application, $2.50. New license fees are due January 1 of each year and are considered delinquent after March 31, with a penalty of ten percent added for t delinquency. |
