Show Tropic Topics Verdella and Minnie Nielsen, Orvilla and Alston Shakespear, Phyllis Stewart and Cheri Feltner were in Cedar City during the week. Margie Bee enjoyed a visit from her daughter Barbara from California. While here she also spent some time with her sister Claudia Niemann. Spending the weekend with the Arnold Adairs were daughter Bonnie, her husband and daughter, from Midvale, and son Larry and family from Cedar City. Ray and Violet Lit-tlefield visited daughter Renone and family. Ray also had an eye appointment while in Cedar City. The school photographer had a busy day the fore part of the week, taking re-takes of all the students. It seems that all pictures had tops of the heads cut off. A truck from the D.I. will be in Tropic on Saturday, Oct. 9th. All parcels are to be to the church before 9 a.m. for pickups. Amplus LeFevre enjoyed a short overnight visit from her son Kenneth and daughter. Cliff Barton and family were home for the weekend. Harmon and Cora Shakespear, E.R. and Dixie Shakespear, and Lucy Shakespear attended funeral services in Spanish Fork for Harmon's sister Amy. Bill Clakins and wife visited in Tropic with Ella Adair, his former teacher. He said "Hi" to his old classmates. Lucy Shakespear attended the wedding for her grandaughter in Grantsville. Ora Brinkerhoff entertained several friends at a lace party. Sara Lou Sudweeks entertained at a Tupperware party. I Dee Pollock and family spent a few days visiting , relatives in California. Viva and Malen I Mecham were in Provo for the wedding of Donald Brown, a nephew. Malen i also had a medical I checkup while there. Margaret and Malen j Mecham were in Rich-I field on business, i A birthday party for McClain Mecham was held Monday evening at his parents home. Ora Brinkerhoff, Amplus LeFevre and Margie Mecham visited Margaret Mecham in the hospital in Cedar City. Reports are that she is doing very well. Virgil Pollock Is also improving in the hospital in. Panguitch, and is out of intensive care. Pam Myers is also feeling much better, but still on the serious list in Salt Lake LDS Hospital. Alan Sudweeks in Tropic fixing up his home. Cheese and butter were distributed to all senior citizens in Tripic. Mary Lund, and daughter and son-in-law, sister of George Wilson, visited with him Monday afternoon. LaMar and Ethel LeFevre spent a few days with Flora LeFevre and helped her get her apples harvested. Roland Bee spent a few days this week in Idaho with his father, who turned 97 yrs. old while he was there. |
