Show Cooper Named To Panguitch Police Force Than Cooper, 23, has been hired as a police officer for Pangultch City. He was born in Salt Lake City and reared in Circleville, moving to Panguitch when he was 16. He is a graduate of Pangultch High School and attended Provo Technical College to study building construction. He also worked for the Cedar City District of the U.S. Forest Service, primarily in the Panguitch Lake area. He married the former Gaylene Orton of Panguitch and they moved to Bountiful where Cooper worked in construction with Interstate Homes and his wife attended Weber State College to become an x-ray technician. On the job now for two weeks, Cooper says he is enjoying all aspects of his new employment. He will receive his first training at the Peace Officers Standards of Training Academy in January where Pangultch officer Martin Nay is currently attending classes. Than Cooper |
