Show Escalante Chit Chat Morris and Neta Shirts went to Cedar City for the 130th birthday an-niverary of that town. Their son Alpine was speaker at the celebration and they all attended the supper at the Iron Mission. Bill and Clorine Vidrine toured Europe and got home in time to hear of the arrival of a baby boy born to Marty and Debbie. Glen Imlay came for his mother, Idella taking her to Colorado for the winter. Thais Griffin went north for a doctor's appointment and visited family members. Sunday their son Brent reported his mission to Denmark. The minibus took a group to St. George. Fay Alvey and Leah Griffin and daughters, Marilee and Brenda went Friday and stayed overnight. Hilda Roundy took her pickup to Monroe for repairs and came home with Claron and Ruby Griffin who had business in Richfield. Yukon Norman got word that son Larry had been Injured in an accident, putting one arm and shoulder out of use. The Special Interest group met at the home of Fay Alvey for a pot luck supper honoring Jane Woolsey for her 88th birthday anniverary. Sin and corruption are rampant and the sinners becoming more brash. There would probably be even more sin if folks had more ready cash. |
