Show Tropic Topics Ella Adair Margie Bee and Carol Niemann spent a week in California visiting with relatives. Margie got acquainted with her new great- grandson while there. The Arnold. Adairs enjoyed a weekend visit with their daughter Bonnie and family, from Midvale. Several out of town guests, including the bride's brothers and parents were in Tropic for the Bybee open house. Mary Lee Ramsey fell while out walking and broke her elbow. She spent several days in the hospital. The Norman Lit-tlefields and Charlotte Littlefield have arrived home from their visit in Louisiana. While there they attended the wedding of Ronald Littlefield and Brenda Delhomme in Lafayette, Louisiana. Ronnie and bride will make their home in Tropic. Margaret Mecham gave her mission report in sacrament meeting. Son, Bud was the other speaker. Daughters Garnet and Vera and Delight Laurentzen were here for the report. The Utah Power and Light Company Home Demonstration agent will be in the Relief Society room at 10 a.m. Friday, Nov. 20th to give a demonstration on Christmas savings. All ladies are invited to attend. The Bryce Valley Senior Citizens will have their monthly meeting and dinner tonight at 6:00 p.m. in the scout house. Kathy and Gary Davis and daughter were visitors at the Wallace Ott home. The Clive Bybees had all of their children home for the weekend. Ora Brinkerhoff was in Cedar City visiting her daughter and sister. Joy Stubbs was released as counselor in the Primary. Stacey Pollock will take her place. Linda Mecham was relased as the Star B teacher and Mary Etta Chynoweth will take her place. Vickie Jensen is the new Sunbeam leader in the Primary, being released as the Merry Miss teacher. The records for the Jay Littlefield family were read and they were welcomed as members of the Tropic Ward. The Ray Llttlef ields are spending two weeks in St. George. The Kent Wintchs enjoyed a visit from their son Kenneth and family over the weekend. The Pinewood Derby for the Cub scouts will be held Saturday, the 21st of November. Ella Adair and Orvilla Shakespear attended a 5 county meeting for the committees of Golden Agers in Parowan. |
