Show Missionary Work Is Theme of New Play Missionary work is not entirely serious business as play goers wil discover Friday evening. County residents will have an opportunity to attend the new hit comedy, "The best Two Years of My Life," a play which depicts, in a delightful way, the rejections, humiliation, mockery, weariness and lonesome, homesick feelings that every LDS missionary encounters at some time. Curtain time is set for 7 : 30 p.m. at the Pangutich LDS Stake Center with all tickets for the production priced at $4.00. Proceeds from the event will be contributed to help defray the costs for the portable lighting system for future cultural arts activities. Seminary Instructor Rodney Parry and the members of his seminary council will host the evening's entertainment which has been arranged for by Irene McEwen. "The Best Two Years of My Life" was written by Scott S. Anderson who also directs the production. |
