Show LAND EXCHANGE NOTICE Notice is hereby given that the Forest Service is considering an exchange of land with Security Title of Southern Utah under the authority of the Act of March 20, 1922, (as amended by the Act of October 21, 1976). The lands under the jurisdiction of the Forest Service that are being considered for exchange are described as SVfcNVfeSEViNEViSEVi, SSEV4NEV4SEV4, WV4NEy4SEy4SEV4, NSV4NEV4SEV4SEV4 sec. 33, SV4N14- swy4Nwv4Swv4, sv4Swy4Nwy4Swy4 Sec. 34; approximately 1 acre of the above described lands contains wetlands, T25S, R2E, Salt Lake Meridian, comprising 22.50 acres, more or less, in the Fishlake National Forest, Richfield, Utah. Security Title of Southern Utah lands are described as SEy4NWy4SEy4-8ec 34 T25S, R2E, Salt Lake Meridian, comprising 10 acres, more or less, in the Fishlake National Forest, Richfield, Utah; NEy4SEy4Nwy4, NV4NV4SEy4SEy4NWy4, NfcSV4NV4SEyiSEy4NWy4 Sec 28, T36S, R4W, Salt Lake Meridian, comprising 13.75 acres, more or less, in the Dixie National Forest, Cedar City, Utah. Any or all of the above described lands may be exchanged provided'the values are equal. In the event the values are not equal, either parry may equalize the values by the payment !of cash. The amount of cash to be paid may not exceed, twenty-five percent of the value of the National Forest lands. Persons claiming such properties or having valid objections to this proposed .exchange, must file their1 claims or objections with the Regional Forester at 324 25th Street, Ogden, Utah 84401, within 15 days after date of the last publication of this notice. ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS RECEIPT OF PROPOSALS: Sealed Proposals, on forms prepared by the Engineer, will be received by GARKANE POWER ASSN., INC. at the office- of VALLEY ENGINEERING, INC., 850 North Main, Richfield, Utah until 10:00 a.m. on August 8, 1980, for the following work: The complete sand blasting and exterior repainting of the above ground penstock located near Boulder, Utah. The penstock contains approximately 178,000 square feet of exterior steel surface. READING OF PROPOSALS: Proposals will be publicly opened and read at 10:00 a.m., August 8, 1980. OBTAINING CONTRACT DOCUMENTS: Contract documents may be obtained upon application at VALLEY ENGINEERING, INC., 205 26th St., Suite 21, Ogden, Utah 84401 or at VALLEY ENGINEERING, INC., 850 North Main, Richfield, Utah 84701 upon payment of $10.00 .for each set. No refund will be made. PHOPOSAL GUAR-ANTEE: Each proposal must be accompanied by an acceptable form of proposal guarantee in the amount of ten percent (10-percent) of the amount of the proposal or Cashiers Check payable to GARKANE POWER ASSN., INC. The proposal guarantee will be returned following the award of the Contract. A one hundred percent (100-perceht) preformance bond must be provided by the successful bidder within seven (7) days following notice of award.
