Show Livestock Show To Open Fair Here Saturday The annual Garfield County Fair will kick-off with a junior livestock show Saturday. Exhibitors should enter their livestock from 7 to 9 a.m. at the Panguitch Race Track. A junior and adult judging contest will be held at 9 a.m. followed by judging of market swine, beef and lambs at 9:30 a.m. Judging of breeding classes of livestock will begin 10:30 a.m. A showmanship contest will be held in connection with the market classes oi oeei, iamD, goais ana swine. According to Jack Soper, show director, all exhibitors must be under ,19 years of age, except for breeding animal classes where adult exhibitors will be accepted. All necessary instructions may be found in booklets prepared by the Garfield County Fair Baord, available at local businesses. The fair is sponsored by the Garfield County Commission. Four-H activities in the fair will include a flower show, pet show, fruit and vegetable exhibits, cake decorating, clothing exhibits, arts and crafts, knitting, photography, child care, public speaking contest and fashion show. Garfield County residents are invited to contact their community representatives for further details.
