Show Mr. and Mrs. Stanley D. Tebbs Tebbs Celebrate 50th Anniversary Aug, 27 Mr. and Mrs. Stanley D Tebbs, formerly of Panguitch and now of Kaysville, observed their 50th wedding anniversary Aug. 27. They were married in Junction. Aug. 27, 1928. The marriage was later solemnized in the St. George LDS Temple. They have spent most of their lives in Panguitch, moving to Kaysville in March of this year. Mr. Tebbs has been engaged in the farming sheep and cattle business. He has been active in community affairs serving as a city councilman, president of the Panguitch Lions Club and a member for nearly 40 years. He has been a member of the Garfield County Agriculture Stabilization and Conservation Committee for 18 years. He served as a counselor in the Panguitch LDS South Ward Elders Quorum and a member of the Panguitch LDS Hospital board. Mrs Tebbs has served in the I JOS Church as ward and stake Relief Society president, Stake Primary president and MIA president She has been a member of the ward choir for many years. She was a charter member of the Panguitch Lady Lions Club and is still active in the 35-year old club. Mr and Mrs Tebbs have two sons and one daughter Stanley A. Tebbs, Clearfield; Douglas C, Bountiful and Janet Tebbs Adams, Kaysville. They have 13 grandchildren. Their children hosted a family party. |
