Show Cannonville - - Betty Henderson 679-8592 Folks here have spring fever and with good reason. The weather has been beautiful and we have a few clouds around so maybe we will get a little storm. Shirlene Collins and children have been visiting her mother, Glenda Feltner. Daisy Johnson pent a few days in the hospital at Panguitch. Irving spent that time with Bob and Ardis Evans at Hatch. Ardis came home with her folks to look after them until Golden Johnson came from Clearfield to take them up north. Things have been right busy at Melda Davis'. Young Chris Baker spent a few days with his grandmother while his mother went to the Panguitch Hospital to get him a new baby brother. Chris named the new baby Steve Austin. The boys parents are Les and Shirley Baker of Henrieville. Mr. and Mrs. Dennis Jenson, Springille; Mr. and Mrs. Cal Burroughs, Kanab have also visited with Melda. Sharron stayed behind for a few days and Melda took her home on Monday. Byron Davies was a patient at Garfield Memorial Hospital this last week. His daughter, Maureen Blackburn came to help Garda take care of him. I le is feeling much better. Mandy Feltcher attended a bridal shower for Lynette Hughes In Panguitch on Friday. Lynette is soon to be the bride of Danny Fletcher. Betty and Bonnie Nielson went to Cedar City on Thursday. Betty took her car over to the body shop and needed a ride back home. Mr. and Mrs. Howard Elmer of Cedar City visited Ira and Julia Elmer on Sunday. An open house was held Saturday night by Bishop and Mrs. Clele Fletcher in honor of their son Rex and his new bride, Leslie. Out of town guests were the brides mother, Mrs. Claire Rolse and children of Salt Lake City; John and Nedra' f Fletcher, Canyonlands; Rosemary Fletcher, Rough Rock, Arizona; Ann and Tom Reece, Las Vegas; Julia and Leo Hall, Cedar City; Mr. and Mrs. Irving Allen, Circleville. Otha and Iris Henderson visited Fern Henderson recently. Merwin Dunham was here over the weekend doing some odd jobs around the home place. Jack Nielson and Dick Goulding were speakers at sacrament meeting. Elsie and Dick Goulding did a musical number. Food for thought: A smile is the sugar that sweetens ones face. |
