Show Mountain Bell to Open Region Customer Office CEDAR CITY-Mountain Bell has established a new customer services district in Cedar City to serve the expanding southern Utah area. The new district, which was created by a reorganisation within the telphone company, will serve customers from Ephraim and Mt. Pleasant on the north to Predonia, Arizona on the south. Phil Selander, a Salt Lake City native and an employee of Mountain Bell for the past 12 years, has been appointed district manager. He served previously as manager of the test center and special services operations in Salt Lake City. He has also been business office manager in Salt Lake City. In addition to the new order center which is located In the American Bank of Commerce Building in Cedar City, Selander will be responsible for the business offices in Rich- ! field. Cedar City and St George Prior to the recent company j reorganization, the installation, i repair and business functions j were under two separate t departments, both headquartered in Provo, 1 "These have all been grouped together and located in Cedar City to be more responsive to the needs of customers in southern Utah," Selander explained. "As a company, we are aware of the tremendous growth of the southern portion of the state and are moving to keep our service at the high level our customers have come to expect," he added. The new district manager and his wife, Lynnette, are the parents of three boys. "We look forward to living in this area and are anxious to get to know the people of Southern Utah as quickly as possible," he said. Phil Selander |
