Show Uncva Livestock Auction Action Salable at the Uneva Livestock sale this week in Cedar City were: Fat lambs $41 to $45.50; feeder lambs $40 to $43; slaughter ewes $6 and $10 CWT to $31 per head. Lambs were higher by $1 CWT. Hogs on the block were $34 to $35.50; feeders $28 to $32; weiners $15 to $25; sows-boars $24 to $38; Hogs were $1 higher this week. Cattle-baby calves $15 to $33 for day olds; cows-canners-cutters $17 to $21; utility and commercial $21 to $26 heifers to $28.50; bulls $26 to $28.50. Feeder Cattle 300-400 pound steers $39 to $43, heifers $31 to $34; 400-500 pound steers $38 to $42, heifers $30 to $33; 500-600 pound steers $35 to $41, heifers $28 to $30; 600-700 pound steers $25 to $28; fat cattle 1100 pound steers $37 to $38.50. Cows were $1 to $2 lower this week. Feeder cattle $1 higher especially on light steers and heifers. Young pregnancy tested cows sold up to $31. 950 head livestock went through the auction market. Sale for the holiday will oe Dec. 18, Dec. 30 and Jan. 8. |
