Show Cannonville Betty Henderson 679-8592 There are a few clouds floating around once in awhile, the wind blows and we get no snow. Ada and George Thompson and family are home safe and sound from their trip to San Diego. They were there for Thanksgiving and for the blessing of their newest granddaughter. The young lady is the daughter of Sue and Arnold DeWald and has been given the name Beverly Jo. Joe Thompson has a new address and we have been asked to pass it along. 435 N. W.Basin No. IS Ephrata, Wash. 98823. Elva and Marion Clark are sporting a beautiful new blue car. Elva, Steve, Verjean and the children drove to Las Vegas on Friday to spend the weekend. Marion stayed behind to doctor a cold he'd picked up over the Thanksgiving holiday when he and Elva were up north. Edgar Dunham and Dorothy Elmer were recently married in Reno.Nev. Fern Henderson is back home after her recent Jaunt to Logandale, Nev. where she visited Lorna and Harold Peterson. Gerald Stock and Lora Dawn Davis were married at the home of the grooms parents, Bert and Arma Stock. An open house was held for them at the ward cultural hall with many friends attending to wish them well. Lora Dawn is the daughter of Verl and Dorothy Davis of Panguitch. Ramona Fletcher and Margie Mecham attended several sessions at the Manti Temple. They also went to Provo to visit the Larry Fletcher's and LaDonna Chris tensen. Gay Shakes pear was guest of honor at a stork shower given in her honor by the ward Relief Society sisters. A crib quilt made by the sisters was presented to her. Donieta and Eddy Dunham recently went to Vernal and came home in a new pickup. Garda Davies went to Aurora to visit Michael and Valree Davies and to Provo to do some shopping. Mae Twitchell and daughters went to Salt Lake City to see Ron and his family and for some shopping. Charlotte Mathews spent a few days here visiting Rae and Joe Hughes and Don and Louise Mangum. Food for thought: the flowers are God's beautiful thoughts. |
