Show Here's Uneva Livestock Auction Saturday Report CEDAR CITY Salable at the Uneva Livestock Auction last week In Cedar City were: Fat lambs 41 to 843; feeder lambs $42 to 46; slaughter ewes $6 to $8 CWT to 825 for some mutton types. Hogs on the block, 832 to 835.10; feeders 828 to 831; weiners $15 to 826 per head; sows-boars 824 to 826 CWT. Cattle-baby calves $15 to 835 up to 872 for 150 pound calves; cows-canners-cutters $19 to $21 ; utility and Commercial $22 to $25 young cows to $30.10; bulls $28.80 to $31.80. Choice feeder cattle 300-400 pound steers $38.50 to $43; heifers $30 to $33.50; 400-500 pound steers $38 to $42, heifers $30 to $32; 500-600 pound steers $36 to $37.50, heifers $30 to $31; 600-700 pound steers $34 to $36.50; heifers $29 to $31. Holsteins 500 pound steers $26 to $27.50; 700 pound steers $24 to $26.50. Fat horses brought up to $26 CWT. Many cows pregnant tested brought over $30 CWT. In special cow sale 1650 head went through the auction. Buyers from Phoenix, Southern California and Fallon, Nevada were at the Auction. Most of the cows went from $2 to $3 higher than last week. Feeder cattle were $2 stronger. |
