Show Panguitch Patter Janet Olsen 7-MS2-7-27l7 While everyone in Panguitch was shivering and shaking with the cold Mr. and Mrs. Vee Bruhn was basking away in the hot sun on the sandy beach In Southern California. They spent 10 days getting away from it all around here and going into it In California. Spending the Thanksgiving holidays at the home of Rulon and FayElla Prince was their son. Howard Kay and family of Bountiful and grandchildren, the Rick Preemans and son from Woodscross. They all enjoyed Thanksgiving day at the Reid Sudweeks In Circleville. The Jay Proctor's spent the weekend in Bountiful visiting with their son, Arlyn and Ann Proctor and family. George and Thora Proctor had their grandchildren, Ryan and Shaliere for the past week while their mother was visiting relatives In California. They are children of Mr. and Mrs. Ron Proctor. Visiting Mr. and Mrs. Paul Julander for Thanksgiving were their children, Mr. and Mrs. George Greenhalgh and family, Salt Lake City; Mr. and Mrs. Lynn Julander and family, Monroe; Mr. and Mrs. John Schena, Richfield. Visiting Mr. and Mrs. Alfred Hatch were Mr. and Mrs. Kenneth Keck and family, Ashton, Idaho. Mr. and Mrs. Evan Crosby, Justin and Cody, Salt Lake City spent Thanksgiving visiting relatives. Visiting Mr. and Mrs. Norman Davis were their daughter and son-in-law, Sue and Ralph Hughes. They traveled to St George where they were sealed in the St George LDS Temple. Mr. and Mrs. Calvin Robinson, Circleville visited the Remo Johnson family Saturday and Sunday. Mr. and Mrs. Jay Crosby went to St. George Saturday to visit Mr. and Mrs. Philip Bailey. Mr. and Mrs. John Schena, Richfield visited Mr. and Mrs. Paul Julander for the weekend. Mr. and Mrs. Art Crosby and Mr. and Mrs. Jim Davis went to Las Vegas for the weekend. The South Ward Relief Society Bazaar was held In the Social Hall Monday night The Bazaar was a real success. A good crowd attended the fund raising event for the new stake center. Louise Barney,' Cedar City visited for the weekend at the Vernon Barney home. Mr. and Mrs. Bill Crosby, Hurricane visited with the Art Crosby family Thanksgiving weekend. Mr. and Mrs. Ken Roe and family, Smithfield visited with Mrs. Ruby Roe. The Panguitch South Ward priests and elders cut firewood to sell to Vegas to earn money for the stake center. Mr. and Mrs. Harold Sevy l''n"lTl'fr'fTTiaTlTlMtil went to St. George to visit Mrs. Fanella Sevy. Visiting the Jack Sopers was son-in-law to be Cliff Hughes, Provo. Violet Robinson came home from the hospital and seems to be Improving. Janice Bernson, Salt Lake City visited Mrs. Violet Robinson and Mrs. Norma Talbot The Keith FackreU family went to visit their parents the R. 11. Fackrells of Springvllle and the Ivan Sorensens of Provo. Algie Myers went to Springvllle to visit the Paul Hjorths. The Lowell V. Henrie Jrs. had the baby blessed Sunday. The baby boys name Is Jeremy Joe, small son of Mr. and Mrs. Robert Gray was given the name J or den Robert Jerry Price is in the Garfield Memorial Hospital. He will go to Provo Wednesday. The FB Hardings and the Jerry Price family had visitors for the weekend the Glenn Ellis Family, Provo. They had a family dinner Sunday at the Price home. Mr. and Mrs. Lowell V. Henrie, Panguitch went to Provo to a wedding reception for their nephew, Mr. and Mrs. David Martindale. While there they visited the Richard Henries, Orem and the Archie Camerons, Springvllle. Mr. and Mrs. Charley Bar-ney, Kanab are proud parents of a baby boy. There was one brother waiting for his arrival at home. Her mother, Mrs. Cleo Henrie, Panguitch spent time helping at the Charles Barney home. Two names were left out of the program for Edra Miller, Woman of the Year night Dawna Barney, made up a poem entitled "Edra, My Boss" telling of all the calamities that only Edra could come up with. Lyle Miller read a tribute. Edra received a letter of congratulations from Governor Calvin L. Rampton and also a letter of congratulations and a hankerchief from the District BPW. Visiting at the home of Mr. and Mrs. John M. Henrie were Mr. and Mrs. Que Brown, Sigurd and Mr. and Mrs. Owen Peters, and also Gareld Peterson, Huntington and I Vivian Peterson, Circleville. 1 Mr. and Mrs. Jim Blake, West Covtna, Calif, has moved Into Panguitch after purchasing the Blue Pine Motel and Hotel. They have three boys, Jimmy, 5; Willie, 3 and Matthew, It months. Also living with the' Blakes are, Denver Abner and Terry Abner, Baldwin Park. Calif. Due to the power being shut off Sunday from 1 to 4 p.m. North Ward win hold their sacrament meeting at 12 noon next Sunday. Next Sunday In the South Ward Is going to be Ward Conference and their meeting will also be held at 12 noon. Mr. and Mrs. Ronald Smith and family, Springvllle spent Thanksgiving with the Van Barney family and Mrs. Amelia Smith. Mr. and Mrs. Robert Crosby went to Las Vegas to spend time with Dr. and Mrs. Simms Duggtns. Jim and Sherlene Osterud and family, Tooele visited the Horace Myers and the Ted Walkers. |
