Show Henrieville Melba D. Smith-7-8S72 Roland Johnson, son of Thorley and Virginia Johnson and Guy Thompson son of Guy and Bev Thompson both had surgery at the Garfield Memorial Hospital . at Panguitch for hernia operations. Stake Sunday School representatives, Don Mangum, Evan Chynoweth and Reed LeFevre visited at Henrieville Sunday. Boyd and Maggie Henderson spent a week at Alta Hendersons home. They visited Ora and Rhoda Shafer. They took Alta Henderson to Escalante for Thanksgiving at Ivan and Nelda Willis' home. Dave and Jerry Millett and children and Olaf and Lyllian Shakes pear and .family spent Thanksgiving at the Shafer home. Several girls from here joined' other girls from Bryce Valley High School for the state volleyball tournament at Provo on Friday and Saturday. They also picked up the girls from Panguitch High School who traveled with them. Laura Clark and LaKay Quilter went to St. George on Friday to bring Kay Clark home from the hospital after his knee surgery. Ronald Clark went back to Pocatello, Idaho Friday after helping his mother during the week. His son Dirk went on to Phoenix, Ariz, for employment. Layton and Melba Smith visited the Rett Shakes pear family and Ed Smith at Cedar City. On Saturday Layton and Melba went with Christine Shakes pear to St George for shopping. They visited Bryan and Mary Johnson for a few minutes in one of the stores. Melba Smith received word that Eard Deuel came from Texas to visit his mother, Mildred Deuel and brother Verdee and Juanita Deuel at K earns. They then visited Omar and Cecil Reid at Sprlngville. Kim Johnson and son Clayton returned to their home at Spanish Fork on Friday after visiting at the home of her parents, Elmo and Iris Bushnell and with sisters, Koye Mecham and Keela Mangum and their families. |
