Show Tropic Topics Ella Adair (74-2311 Ruth Baugh and daughter, Kelly made a weekend trip to California to bring her mother, Gucrna Robinson home. The Ray Llttlefields visited with his brother, Ellis, In Henderson, Nev. during the week. , Ellis and Janet LeFevre spent the weekend In Tropic. Flora LeFevre has gone to Salt Lake City for medical treatment. B.V. Day brought some more money to the school for their Marque as the students held a walk-a-thon to Kodachrome State Park. Ella Adair and Wayne Reynolds took Coleen Pollock and Renone Reusch to Salt Lake City last Friday to receive awards they had won in the channel 4 poster contest. Carol Adair, Afton Branch, Sonla Allen, daughters of the Royal Alveys, spent the weekend in Tropic with their parents. Rhett Shakespear visited with the E. F. Shakespeare over the weekend. Clara Johnson and Lizzie Barton were in Salt Lake City this past week. The Carl Syretts made a trip to Wyoming for the seminary graduation exercises that daughter, Karleen took part in. She returned to Ruby's Inn with her parents. The BVHS seniors are spending four days this week in California on their annual trip. Mr. and Mrs. Clare Ramsay and Mr. and Mrs. Sherrill Ott are chaperoning the group. The parents of the seniors sponsored the annual senior dinner at Ruby's Inn Monday night. Parents of the class officers were in charge of the arrangements. Mr. and Mrs. Leon Steward, from Monroe, spent the weekend with the Reginald Stewarts. Mr. and Mrs. Tom Jackson were in Ely, Nev. last week, to see his sister crowned Miss White Pine County. She will compete for Miss Nevada honors. Betty O'Keefe and family visited with Amplus LeFevre. Ora Brinkerhoff and Amplus LeFevre made a trip to Cedar City Saturday to take their grandchildren to meet their parents. Royce Pollock and Mark Munson were home over the weekend. Both are employed In Delta. Kery Haycock and Kay Shakespear were home from their jobs in Price. Garry Bybee and Bill Pollock were among the students graduating from the institute In Cedar City. Next Sunday will be Tropics birthday. A special program will be presented In sacrament meeting, as part of the bicentennial event. Kim Ott has received a mission call to Japan. |
