Show Hatch Happenings tttva Lowder The Primary officers gave their yearly appreciation party for their partners Saturday evening. A lovely dinner was enjoyed, also a program and games. The wedding and reception for Shelley Woodard and Lynn Smith was well attended by many relatives and friends, both local and from neighboring towns. They received many lovely gifts. They are making their home In Panguitch. Speakers In sacrament meeting Sunday were Stake High Councilmen Frank Orton and Keith Dalton. A special song by Lewis Barney accompanied or the piano by Janell Barney. DUP meeting was held Friday at the home of Ardis Evans. The lesson was given by Velma Huntington. Mr, and Mrs. Brent Turek of Cedar City, accompanied Mr. and Mrs. E. F. Turek to Mantl Thursday to attend the temple wedding of her sister to Mr. Rose of Henrieville. Friday the Tureks all went to Salt Lake City where Ed had a check up with his doctor there. Mr. and Mrs. Lynn Evans went to Salt Lake City last weekend where Noreen had a check up. Vaughn Evans of Las Vegas, is here visiting his folks, the Sam Evans. They visited in Cedar City Friday. Other .visitors in Delta were Shirley and Monica Wilhelm, Shawna Woodard, Maggie Barnhurst, Mr. and Mrs. Arnold Sawyer, Mrs. Carta Sawyer and two children. Mr. and Mrs. Leland Riggs and Ramon Porter. Idonna Deuel and family visited Sunday afternoon in Orderville with La Verne Blackburn and family. Margie Prince left last week to visit a while in Texas with relatives. Monday, Howard went to Las Vegas to visit. Mr. and Mrs. Bruce Dalton visited in Kanab Saturday with relatives and went to see her doctor. Mr. and Mrs. Grant Dalton are home after spending several months in Heber City where he was employed. The Gib Clarks of Kanab visited them Saturday. Mr. and Mrs. Ken Roberts of Antimony, visited the Oliver Huntlngtons and the David Sawyers. Ivor Rtggs took his mother, Mrs. Ardell Riggs to St. George one day last week to check with her doctor. ' Theora Heap and Ruth Wilson met their sisters, Beth Weideman, Merle Wood and Ann River of Las Vegas in St George for the weekend. They visited and exchanged Christmas gifts. The Bob Evans visited In Cannonvllle Sunday afternoon with Mr. and Mrs. Irving Johnson. Rodney Gunn of Antimony visited his grandparents, the Nile Sawyers. Word was received by Mrs. Arlene Haney that her daughter, Diane had undergone major surgery and from last reports was doing fine. |
