Show f AREA OBITUARIES j I' ' John It. Littlcficlri HENR1EVILLE - John Riggs Llttlefleld, 85, died Dec. 16 in a Provo hospital of causes Incident to age. He was bom Jan. 27, 1889, HenrievUle, to Edwin W. and Sarah Frances Riggs Lit-Uefield. He married Eva Barlow, June 10, 1914 in the Manti LDS Temple. She died Feb. 12, 1948. He was married to Madeline Hodson, May 17, 1949, Evanston, Wyo. He received his education in Henrlevllle and moved to Richfield. He lived in various southern Utah areas until 1925 when he moved to Provo where he has since lived. He began work at the Iron ton plant during its construction and worked there until 1953 when he retired. He worked as a school crossing guard for 10 years. He was an active member of the High Priests Quorum in the Provo First Ward. While in Richfield he was an avid baseball player and played on the state championship team from Richfield. Survivors: wife, Provo; sons, daughters, Milt, Orem; Max, Provo; Kenneth, Ogden; Mrs. Walter (Mildred) Snow, Mrs. WiUlam K. (Beth) Nesbit, Aha Loma, Calif.; Mrs. Richard (Barbara) Kendall, Orem; 25 grandchildren; 35 great grandchildren; sister, Mrs. Dean (Delia) York, Spanish Fork. Funeral services will be Thursday at 11 a.m. in the Berg Drawing Room chapel, 185 East Center, Provo, where friends may call prior to services. Burial will be In the Provo City Cemetery. |
