Show Funeral Services Held For Don L Orton Funeral services for Don L. Orton, 51, were held April 15 In the Panguitch North ward chapel. Prayer In home, Bishop Alton Sud weeks; prelude and postlude music, Barbara Orton and Irene McEwen; opening song, "Not Now, But In The Coming Years," choir ; opening prayer, John Johnson; speaker, H. Frank Orton; vocal solo, "Lay My Head Be-Neath A Rose," Bill Horton; speaker, Frank Richards; violin solo, "Silver Haired Daddy," Barbara Orton; tribute, Freda Talbot; Bishop's remarks, D. Kern Owens; solo, "Love Me Tender," Brent Leach; closing prayer, Jay A. Riggs. The grave was dedicat ed by D. Vee Worthen ; burial was In the Panguitch Cemetery under direction of Neal S. Magleby and Sons Mortuary. Mr. Orton died April 11 in a Salt Lake hospital of natural causes. He was born April 6. 1918, a son of Lawrence and Hazel Woodard Orton. On July 28, 1940 he married Alta Bird In Kingston. He was a member of the LDS Church. Survivors: widow; sons, daughters, Wallace, Ri vert on: Dennis, Mrs. Carl (Judy) Mann, both of Salt Lake City; Mrs Keith (JoAnn) Sevy, Denver, Colo.; Barbara, Kenneth, both of Pangultch; 5 grandchildren; sister, brothers, Mrs. Donna Mae Johnson, Gary, Bob. Brent, all of Pangultch. |
