Show Survey Shows Still Lots Of Snow On East Fork Of Sevier River Snow courses on the East Fork of the Sevier River and on the Antimony Creek watershed were measured by Forest Service personnel on March 24, 25 and 26 and on April 1 and 2. Snow depth remains above avenge for this time of year and contains from 26 to 45 percent water. Following are the results of measurements: Antimony Creek: 26" snow, 8" water content. Clayton Guard Station: 53.5" snow, 18" water content. Dry Lake: 42" snow, 14" water content. Upper Coyote Hollow: 48.5" snow, 18" water content. Pelham Lake: 35" snow, 11.5" water content. Pollywog Lake: 27.5" snow, 7" water content. Upper Dry Hollow: 40" snow, 14" water content. Long Hollow: 29" snow, 10" water content. Middle Fork Kanab: 57" snow, 25" water content. Mill Creek: 66" snow, 29" water content. Sleler Creek: 59" snow, 25" water content. Kanab Creek Forks: 49" snow, 21" water content. Kanab Creek: 43.5" snow, 19" water content. |
