Show Henrieville By Virginia Johnson Tho Thorley Johnsons took his mother Lovlsa to Hanks-ville Friday and then she would bo taken to Grcenrivcr to see the doctor for medical care. Dorian Johnson is in Salt Lake working on a Welfare Farm for most of the summer. Word was received from He-ber Mcacham of Delta that he is able to walk some now after not being able to for a long time. Margaret Barker was brought homo Saturday and rushed to tho hospital Tuesday and she passed away Wednesday evening. There were lots of folks here from surrounding towns for the funeral, others that came were 'the Lester Mclnel-lys, LaRona Callahan, LaRae Pollock, of Salt Lake; Mona Rao Twitchell of Antimony; Melda Skinner of Provo; Ada Hoover of Marysvale;; Maud Reynolds, Rhoda Barney, of Richfield; Mr. and Mrs. Fullmer of Monroe; Rose Palmer and two girls, Laura Clark, of Glen City; the Laurence Chynow-eths of Grantsville; Eva Orm-ond of American Fork; the Carl Lcmmons, Idonna Gyer, of Ogden. Jan and Reed Goulding had her mother here for a birthday dinner, also her sister and family, the George Buckalues of Pangultch; one boy Is staying here for two weeks. The Orlo Gouldings had Dr. KUbourne of Roy over a weekend, Orlo left Monday for Salt Lake on business. Lula Moore received word that son Cloyd in Texas had been in a car wreck but is doing okay, and word from son Doyle that their little boy had been hit by a car but is alright now; they were all down for the weekend and left children here with Lula while they went on a tour of Grand Canyon. Roxle Chynoweth had the Darreld Blackwell family of Layton, Bonnie Mecham and boys of Bicknell, Fairy Black-well is going to stay here for awhile. Lennord Ahlstrom of Salt Lake and Reno Ahlstrom of McGill, Nevada, Roxle's nephews, visited her and other folks in town. The David Roses attended a Tea in Pangultch for daughter Millie on Friday, she is working in Cedar City. Fern Willis has her son Oscar and family of Grand Canyon here for a visit. |
