Show May Day Celebration. Tho Primary children of this city celebrated cele-brated .May I)ay at tho Garland Amuse ment Hall in titling style Tuesday afternoon, after-noon, May 1st. Thu celebration was under un-der the auspices of the Primary Presidency, Presi-dency, Mrs. Sybil Roberts iu charge. The May Queen was Miss Luclla Fife, the charming daughter of Mr and Mrs A J Fife. Stio whs beautifully dressed for the occasion aud presented a Quecn-Hke appearance. As tho curtain arose she occupied a throne ou the stage that was tastefully decorated In tho colors of the "May Pole." Sterling Lewis was Best Man or King of thu celebration ami was truly a humlsomo little Klug. On the stugj was the "Muy Polo" and to tho music of the plsuo four young ladles tastefully dreisvd In white, assisted by four bravo young men, gracefully wound and unwound tho rlhbonsof green, pink, blue mid white around the "May Pole." Thu names of the dancers around the ".May Polo" were: Nina Winters, Vera Edwards, Ezma Lewis, MBtnle Sus-er, Paul Ray, Keith Winters, Win-ters, George Robinson aud Ross Evans A program was carried out consisting of thu following selections: Song, "Iively, lively May," Primary children. Prajor by Bp. W. L. Grovcr. Duet, "Search for thu Fairy Queen," Luella l-'lfu and Jennie Wanlass. March, led by the May Queen and the girls aud buys who wrapped thu "May Pole " After tho program the children engaged engag-ed in dancing and a very pleasant afternoon after-noon was spent. Tho Primary officers aro to be congratulated con-gratulated lu the successful way thuy entertained the Primary children. Theru were fully 200 in attendance. Tho voting for thu May Queen was at Grover, Rose As Co's store a few days prior to tho celebration and thu following follow-ing is the result of tho votes cast: Luulla Flfu 41 Mamlu Sasser 40 Vera Edwards ...... 1!
