Show A Fitting Endorsement. The Young Woman'B Journal, although al-though barely half way through its second volume, is already established as one of the standard publications of Utah. The annexed letter will give a very fair idea of the place it designs to occupy, and how it is succeeding in its undertaking: Mrs. Elmina S. T-iylor, My Dear SisTEK:-IIaving received a copy of the Young Woman's Journal, I have been reading the article signed by yourself and counselors, entitled, "Be ye not unequally yoked together," and I desire to say to you that I consider con-sider the reading of it alone worth more o me, and I think should be to every tather of a family, than the subscription sub-scription price of the Journal for a year; and I commend it to the careful attention of all the readers of the Journal, and especially to the young women of Israel. The subject is worthy the attention of all. I hope you will not allow this to be your last effort in this dire ction; and that God may bless you z your labor to instruct, er.lighte'n, warn and admonish, ad-monish, in all kindness, the daughters of Zionupon this and kindred subjects. Wishing you, the Journal, and the editor abundant success in the good mission assigned you, and that you have so cheerfully undertaken, I remain re-main your friend and brother, Joseph F. Smith. |
