I'm sure that thought about Christmas your home is pretty busy until Thanksgiving was today and tonight with all over and even then those the preparations for tomor- four weeks seemed like forrow. For those of you who ever. We didn't see Santa have young children in Claus doing commercials your home, it is especially on TV; he was too busy so. There's the letter to working at the North Pole write to Santa telling him getting everything ready of your wishes and maybe for his big trip. For many, a short note explaining to many years our ward had him that you "have been our annual Christmas pargood this year." And your ty on Christmas Eve. All treat for Santa. Don't forget the children in the primary the plate of cookies and a took part in telling what There and Back Again Shirlene R. Ottescn Christmas meant and acting out the First Christmas. At the conclusion of the program, Santa Claus made his annual visit to the children of Palmyra where they could tell him personally of their wishes. Santa also had a treat for all those attending the party* After the program was over and everyone returned home, all the children were reminded to go to bed promptly because Santa couldn't come unless they were asleep. After all, he was right here in Palmyra and so they'd better hurry to bed or else he'd go somewhere else. It was truly a magical time. I've probably told you this before, but one of my favorite memories of my Christmas Eve is when my mom. would help me pin my stocking to the back of our couch. Because I am an only child, I guess she thought my stocking looked rather lonely and so she would get a stocking for her and my dad and hung them with mine. And Santa filled all three! That was enough to convince me that Santa loved me and my dad and mom. Again, my best wishes to all of you who read this column each week. I truly enjoy my visit with you.
