Show • N E W S - Spanish Fork Dons compete in region action WEDNESDAY, SEPTEMBER 24, 2008 • B3 Covering what matters most NEBO FOOTBALL LEAGUE Spanish Fork's girls tennis team played Timpanogos Tuesday, Sept. 16, 2008. Alex Argyle won first singles again, and upset the pre-favorite to win the Region. She is in second place in the region right now.Timpanogos won as a team 3-2. Argyle won 6-4, 4-6, and 6-4. The second doubles of Randi Miller and McKenna West were the others to win their match. Miller is a sophomore and West is a freshman. Right now they •,•/••/ / ' A .' ' are the second-best doubles team in the region. The Lady Dons then hosted AF Thursday, Sept. 18, beating them 4 - 1 . Argyle again won in three sets. The second doubles won again 6-0,6-2; defeating the team that beat them eariler in the year. At second singles Lisa Soffe won in three sets to the girl she lost to eariler in the year as well. Alexa Johnson won her match as well.
