FUEL YOUR IMAGINATION: In recognition of National School Breakfast Week, a poster contest was held in Nebo School District promoting school breakfast. Bridger Hunt was chosen as the school level winner from Spanish Oaks Elementary. He designed his poster with the theme, "Fuel Your Imagination with School Breakfast." His poster was chosen from several excellent entries by the art teacher to represent our school in the district contest. Congratulations to one of our great artists at Spanish Oaks! SfeUSS ON THE LOOSE: As part of our celebration of reading, the students at Spanish Oaks Elementary filled their day with a parade and other activities to honor Dr. Seuss. Each class cfoose a favorite Dr. Seuss book to read and dress up as the main character from the book. MTS. Tingey read her favorite Dr. Seuss books to students and led a parade throughout the school. Students were excited to have read-a-thons in their own classrooms and a drawing was held where students received Dr. Seuss books. Along with our Dr. Seuss celebration, t£e Spanish Oaks PTA' held a "Dads and Doughnuts" reading night. Students had the opportunity to read with their family members and share their reading skills.
