On bended knees I will present myself with thankful heart and profess my gratitude for the many blessings which are mine. I shall share the deep feelings of my heart and recognize how very fortunate I am* I shall praise God and be most grateful for his compassion and mercies. I shall prove myself this day worthy of all that is mine because of Him and His Son by cleaving to goodness. I shall praise him by my thoughts and shall honor him with my actions. I shall be truly thankful and be ever mindful that I am blessed, and on the morrow return to my knees and recommit my thankful heart to the giver of all gifts and humbly pray, "I thank thee." ASSOCIATE EDITOR Long ago and far away there came upon a holy day, a gift of God from heaven above, a little child full of love. He came in such a humble way and lay upon a bed of hay, as wisemen came from lands afar, guided by a shining star. , What joy and gladness filled the air in the lowly stable there, where kneeling worshippers did bring gifts unto the holy king. The shepherds also came to see who the angels said would be a savior born in Bethlehem who would be mankinds dearest friend. And as those that assembled there knelt before the babe so fair and gazed upon his holy face, full of wonder, full of grace, A choir of heavenly hosts did raise sweet anthems of respect and praise, for on that holy night divine was born the Savior of mankind. fit; • M <9urjrlen(ig and ear Ct*$t»tyerg Merry Christmas, from the Car Guys 872 North Main Spanish Fork 794-0077 |
