Four lucky students were chosen from a drawing to receive a "D.A.R.E. Lion" to remind them to always stay strong against the pressures of using drugs. These winners, pictured left to right, are Weston Lubtow, Eli Williams, Tyler Bennett and Anna Tanner with Officer Matt Johnson standing in back. Brockbank INTERNATIONAL VISIT: Two guest speakers from Epopongi, Kenya, shared their culture with the fourth grade students at Brockbank Elementaty School recently. We've got spirit, how 'bout you? Mrs. Sitake's Kindergarten classes have been leading Park Elementary in their school spirit contest. Every Friday, Park Elementary students wear their school shirts and school colors, yellow and blue, to compete for the title of "The Class with the Most School Spirit." The class with the most students wearing school colors earns the opportunity to have the "Panther Spirit" banner on their door along with the "Park Panther" in their room for a week. Kindergarteners in Mrs. Sitake's class hold the Park Panther. Pictured left to right are Alyssa Betts, Hailey Johansen, Carson Czarnik, and Xander Davies. Program and I believe he has influenced a lot of kids to stay away from drugs. He is the animal control officer and he does a great job of it. He'll do anything to help anyone, and will do it willingly. He loves kids and animals, and he loves his job.
