All children from infancy through five years of age, and their caregivers, are invited to attend for stories and learning activities. Children are introduced to books, music, and art, and participate in learning activities. Infants to three years, 10:30 a.m.; four- and five-year-olds at 11:00 a.m. A craft activity to follow at 11:30. For more information call 745-2220. Every Monday and Tuesday: Math tutoring for children ages 6 to 9 at the Ogden Valley Montessori School from 3:30 – 4:30 p.m., and 4:30 – 5:30 p.m. Cost, $5 per hour. The display center is looking for assistance from different church or civic groups of all ages, Eagle Scout project participants, and/or family or individual group participants. October 6: The Public Service Commission has rescheduled a Public Hearing for Monday at 9:00 a.m. in the Fourth Floor Hearing Room #451 at the Heber M. Wells Building, 160 E. 300 S., Salt Lake City, Utah. The hearing is to hear testimony for and against the proposed rate increased Wolf Creek Water & Sewer has applied for. The hearing was re-scheduled due to insufficient public notice of the previously slated hearing. Participate in a family reading contest—keep track of how many pages your family reads from October 10 to October 20. Prizes will be awarded to the families with the first, second, and third highest number of pages read. Refreshments will be served, and every child will receive a surprise.
