Show Volume IV, Issue II THE OGDEN VALLEY NEWS May 1, 2001 Easter Egg Hunt at the Eden Bowery EASTER EGG cont. from page 1 According to organizers Lamar Bott and Linda Gillespie, the event was less stressful and ran much smoother than last year’s first annual event. Prizes were distributed and the party was over by noon. The following helped make the Easter Egg Hunt possible through their generous donations: The Swanson Foundation, Valley Market, Grass Plus, Richard Symka, Dawn Hansen, and Beverly and Dick Villata. A big thanks to Dewayne Guthrie for stuffing about 2,000 eggs. “Your hands can get very sore,” Gillespie said, “but they still had fun doing it. Also a big round of applause goes to members of the Eden Park Board, Lamar Bott, Brent Carver, Linda Gillespie, Flint Guthrie, Bonnie Knobla and Ruth Monahan. They did a great job. Carol Guthrie was missed. She was instrumental in getting the Easter Egg Hunt started. The park board also appreciated the kids turning their eggs back in. “It will cut down on future costs for next year’s event.” Real Estate Done Right!
