Scott A. Iorg, 35, Roosevelt, is charged with three second degree felony counts for recklessness with an incendiary device in connection with the explosion at the car wash The blast rattled walls for blocks and the sound was heard up to two miles from the site. No one was injured. Police believe the ammunition is stolen. Iorg is a former member of the National Guard, according to police reports. A search of Iorgs home in Febru- ary turned up a military style bandoleer with about six rounds of 40 mm artillery shells. The Tooele Army Depot was called in to examine the explosives and determined they were an imminent hazard. Roosevelt Police obtained an emergency hazardous waste treatment permit from the Utah Department of Environmental Quality in February so the shells could be detonated at the police departments firing range.
